As part of my mandatory internship I was working in a local IT firm specializing in Software for control systems. My task was to create a binding between hardware components made by the firm and OpenHAB, an open-source home automation platform.

My first task was to create a Java library used to abstract away the UDP-Communication with the Components.

The library was then used to create an OpenHAB Binding. With this Binding it was possible to use these Components in OpenHAB.
